Bridgewater Systems reports strong sales, profits
Bridgewater Systems said Thursday that sales and profits accelerated in the latest quarter on strong demand from phone companies for technology which manages rising smartphone traffic.
The Ottawa company said sales jumped 41 per cent to $22.7 million and pre-tax profits rose 17 per cent to $4.8 millon in the second quarter ending in June compared to a year earlier. Product sales rose 47 per cent, outpacing service and other revenues.
