Texas company buys Ottawa-based N-able for $120 million

Privately held Ottawa firm N-able has been acquired by a Texas company for $120 million U.S. in cash, the companies announced Tuesday.
N-able, founded in 2000, specializes in cloud-based remote monitoring and management and service automation software. The buyer, SolarWinds, an Austin-based provider of IT management software, expects to complete the deal before the end of this month.
